Ms. Hillstead
Aloha! My name is Ms. Hillstead. I have been a teacher at WES since 2016. I enjoy going to the beach and hiking easy trails with my friends. I also enjoy writing short stories, and look forward to writing with you!
Digital Storytelling
3-5th Grade
Students will learn about the history of storytelling in various cultures and elements of good storytelling. They will engage in the writing process using the website "Storybird" that can be used to write, edit,publish and download picture books and longer chapter books. Students will end the class with a digital showcase.
Class Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
