21st Century

ABOUT

Wai'anae Elementary School has been able to offer after school and summer enrichment classes through the 21st Century CCLC Grant. 



The goal of the program is to offer students opportunities at school that are outside of the normal classroom subjects taught.

The objectives of the 21st Century Program.

• Objective 1. Participants will demonstrate educational and social benefits and exhibit positive behavioral changes.

• Objective 2. 21st Century Community Learning Centers will offer a range of high-quality educational, developmental, and recreational services.

• Objective 3. 21st Century Community Learning Centers will serve children and community members with the greatest need for expanding learning opportunities.

• Objective 4. Participants in 21st Century Community Learning Centers will demonstrate academic improvement based on formative and summative assessments given throughout the school year.
